As embarrassed and horrified as I am to admit it, I have a confession to make: We went to the tanning bed when I was younger. It's that time from the year when we require to look absolutely flawless because it is in fact the ‘official' party season (yayy!! ). But, the one thing that stops us from looking like a million bucks is how boring and lifeless our skin looks in winter. Zero matter how much we all like the cold, we somewhat hate it for producing our skin feel all dry and itchy. If you (like us) have already been wondering how to get rid of all your winter-skin-woes then look no further. Listed below are ten easy ways to make your pores and skin look radiant this winter season.
Even in winters. Hot water and long hours tend to take away the natural oil from your body. Most pub soaps are too severe to use on your face because they contain things that may irritate and dry the skin. Water facial cleansers or foaming products are less harsh. Some even moisturize your face as they clean. Don't use someone else's make-up (bacteria can spread).
Exfoliation is definitely incredibly important, I suggest starting with an exfoliation treatment once a week steadily building up to 2-3 times. Our skin is sensitive by nature and it's important that we avoid overdue the exfoliation especially if you're not used to it. I always suggest starting from your feet and working your way up the body, similarly with the dry brushing, to go your lymph in that direction. Also I typically use circular motions when using an exfoliation treatment.
Fine white or purplish lines on the skin called stretch marks are pretty common in most teens. Stretch marks are formed when the tissue under your pores and skin is pulled by fast development or stretching, like during puberty. Stretch marks generally fade on their own over time. Talk to a dermatologist if most likely concerned about them. Combination pores and skin type is neither dried out nor oily, it's generally a mixture of both. In case you have a Combination skin type, most of the time you will see more essential oil on your forehead, nose and chin area. The other parts would become normal or dry and varies from person to person.
